From first call to final walkthrough—here’s what to expect when you work with us.
We discuss your goals, review the existing or planned concrete surface, and help you select the right color(s) and application technique for your space.
The concrete surface must be clean, dry, and properly prepared before staining. We clean and profile the surface to ensure the dye penetrates evenly.
We apply the acetone dye in even passes, allowing each layer to penetrate before applying additional coats. Multi-tone effects are built up in layers for depth and dimension.
Once the staining is complete, we apply a quality sealer to lock in the color, add sheen, and protect the surface from wear, staining, and UV exposure.
Acetone staining is one of the most versatile and visually stunning finishes available for concrete. Unlike paint or coatings that sit on top of the surface, acetone dyes penetrate deep into the concrete's pores, depositing color that becomes part of the slab itself.
The result is a rich, translucent finish that highlights the natural variation in the concrete — no two floors look exactly alike. Acetone stain is available in a full spectrum of colors, dries extremely fast, and can be layered to create custom blended effects and depth.
Oklahoma's Concrete Specialists has specialized in acetone stain jobs for residential and commercial projects across Oklahoma for decades. We handle everything from a single-color interior floor to complex multi-tone staining on driveways, patios, and commercial spaces. If you can dream up a color scheme, we can apply it.
Acetone dye penetrates into the concrete — not just on top — for color that won't peel or chip off.
Unlike acid stain's limited earthy tones, acetone dyes are available in a full spectrum of colors for truly custom results.
We can stain a brand-new pour or transform an existing slab that you thought was beyond help.

Acetone stain (also called acetone dye) uses fast-evaporating acetone as a carrier for penetrating concrete dyes. The acetone drives the dye deep into the concrete's pores, depositing color that becomes part of the slab. There's no chemical reaction — just physical penetration — so you get consistent, controllable color.
No. Acid stain uses a chemical reaction with lime in the concrete to create color — results are mottled and earthy. Acetone dye physically penetrates the concrete and comes in a much wider color range. Both are beautiful finishes; the right choice depends on your goals.
Yes — existing concrete is a great candidate for acetone staining, as long as the surface is clean, properly prepped, and hasn't been coated with a sealer or paint that would block penetration. We evaluate the surface before committing to the project.
Properly applied and sealed acetone stain is very durable. Interior applications can last indefinitely with periodic re-sealing. Exterior applications may need re-sealing more frequently depending on sun and traffic exposure.

“Great Company for any of your concrete needs. Professional and reliable.”
“Miguel and his family did a great job with our water drainage. We originally wanted a short drain but changed our minds and Miguel and his crew were so sweet and patient with us. They were happy to help out. We can always count on the best work done with loving kindness and smiles! Thanks so much for all of your hard work!”
“Miguel and his family (Dad, brother, son) just finished a patio addition on Wednesday (6/4, in between rain storms). They dug and framed the job on Monday. Tuesday, Miguel came back with 4 mil plastic and covered the site, because storms were predicted later that day and night. Wednesday, mid-morning, they all came to finish the prep work and began the pour about 11:00. By 5:00 they had the worksite cleaned of all their forms and tools, and the finished patio looks wonderful. Miguel was easy to work with. He communicated with us every step of the project. He showed up when he said he would, and he did everything he said he would do. We appreciated the fact that their crew worked hard and worked together to do a great job. We also appreciated the fact that there was no vulgar or harsh words heard during the 2 full days they were working. There was NO cussing or bad attitudes. They came highly recommended to us, and we HIGHLY recommend them to others.”
